With the cement board down, the next step is to put concrete down to level the various layers out.
Next, they’ll wrap up the cement leveling, then get ready for the new tile to go down. In case you don’t recall, that alone is going to be a huge improvement from what the flooring was before.
Once the floor demolition was complete, the next step was to level it out.
Sine there were multiple materials at different levels in the basement, we wanted to make it uniform before putting the new floor down. Here, we tore out the existing wood and rebuilt a leveled platform with cement board on top.
